Ceramic Birds with a bronze iridescent finish made by Sarah Canada

We love birds. These came from the weekend garage sales. $1 apiece, they have this great iridescence to their finish. They're marked Sarah Canada (or is it Canada Sarah...?). Google gave up zero results except for a potentially related jewelery listing on RubyLane. I need more Sarah in my life!

  1. These are indeed lovely birds, The form is also very beautiful- but I clicked on this image because of the similarity to Andersen Studio's metallic bronze glaze designed by my father, Weston Neil Andersen, - I am guessing around 1970.

We also design and handcrafte ceramic birds.

I love those two birds- they are actually quite similar to our own work. We occassionally glaze our slip cast ceramic birds in solid glazes as well- but mostly we do them in a more representative way. www.andersenstudio.com/Ceramic Birds.html
